Boots Haul - L'Orèal Paris 3 For 2

I just can't help myself when it comes to Boots. 9/10 times I go in and I come out having purchased at least one item. They always have the best offers on, usually 3 for 2 which is really good as you can make quite a big saving on your favourite make up items!

I was watching Ameila Liana's latest YouTube video:

And I fell in love with this make up look! You know a make up item is good if Amelia recommends it! When I went into Boots I couldn't decide what to get! I really wanted to get the eye liner that Amelia featured, but I don't think eye liner suits me and I really needed a new foundation, so I decided to get the L'Oreal Paris Infallible Matte Foundation in porcelain10. This foundation itself was £6.99, but along with the mascara and eyeshadow palette linked above on the 3 for 2 offer, I got the foundation free costing a total of £22.98 - which isn't bad for three good quality products!

I have heard some really good things about this foundation! I guess the 'matte' in the name can be a put off to some people as nobody wants a cakey face that's dry and unnatural looking, but this foundation has great coverage that easily covers scars and pours with a flawless finish. It feels matte on the skin, but has a slight dewy finish which leaves the skin looking glowy and healthy, probably not what you would expect! I have used this foundation on a few occasions and its lasted all day on my skin with a few touch ups needed on the T zone! I would definitely recommend it if you're looking for a new fool proof foundation that lasts all day!

The mascara is great for adding volume and length, the volume primer really helps to prep your lashes making them super long and thick! I would recommend curling your eyelashes before applying any product for the best effects.

I am yet to use the L'Orèal eyeshadow palette, but I look forward to experimenting and creating different smokey eye looks! I love Amelia's tip of using sticky strips to create the perfect cat eye - something I feel we all struggle with. You can see it really works too! I think I'm going to have to bite the bullet and purchase the L'Orèal eye liner too, I'm sure I can make it work on me somehow!
